|Recommended: YesVery nice — I have lived here for a few weeks now. The area seems nice. The staff I've encountered are all friendly and helpful. When I had a maintenance issue, they were fairly quick to come by and help. The cost is definitely worth it. Parking availability is not a concern for me as I don't drive, but there are very few front row spots when I'm walking home at night. Again, not something I'm concerned with. I don't typically hear my neighbors. I do seem to smell what their cooking, which tends to always smell good. heh. Ground is fairly clean, aside from the occasional dog poop I've noticed while walking. But to me, that's a natural part of an apartment.

|Recommended: YesIt's A Nice Place — PROS It's nice, quite and accessible to many stores. Finally, I see they put in a playground, but could probably use another one or two. They have the space for it. Glad to see the resident's portal CONS Windows could use updating.

|Recommended: NoThe apartment is far too expensive, and if it is remodeled like it was advertised, it's an awful remodel — This apartment was advertised as remodeled, which was 100 more than the regular apartments. If that's true, I can't imagine how crap the other apartments must be. I pay 775 per month for the 1 bedroom apartment that I'm in, and I have had constant issues. This was my first apartment, so I didn't realize that the quality was so bad compared to others. I've seen apartments for much less with 2 bedrooms and a much better kitchen, bathroom, etc. Let's start. The bathtub is plastic and the plastic was degrading when I first arrived but hadn't noticed on the first tour. The dirt in the bathtub will not clean out, no matter what cleaning products are being used, and I don't want to use something that could destroy the plastic. The toilet seat was also plastic when I first got here, and they recently replaced it with a real toilet seat. They use the cheapest vertical blinds, and I had 2 break already by just turning them normally. My towel rack has fallen off the wall. The blinds in my bedroom are also mega crappy and cheap, this combined with only having one window, beside the living room window, and it being mega small, is just low quality. Not only that, but combining cheap blinds with a light right outside the window, is a bad idea. I had to put a blanket over the window just to make the room dark. Now starting with how noise travels through these paper walls. I have a neighbor in the apartment that is connected to by bedroom that must either keep her TV up so loud every night that I can literally hear it in my room like I'm watching it, or the walls are so paper thin that I can hear it like I'm watching TV. I've asked the office to do something about it a year ago, and many others have spoken up about that person, but they told me I could just send her a note. I asked her to turn her TV down at night, and she said I'll try . So, you tell me what I should do. Her son is also an opiod addict, and has had the police stop him outside his home, and I'm pretty sure he's been to jail a couple times. The son and mom fight from time to time. They scream, shout, and she pretends she needs help to make him leave the room. It's toxic, and they are literally the only neighbor that I've had a problem with. Other neighbors have complained to me about them as well. I have no idea why they're still here. I'm sure the person reading this review probably knows who it is. It's the woman that digs through the trash for treasures for her house, and her son who literally slams his door into other cars in the parking lot and acts like nothing happened. Rest of my neighbors are great The maintenance staff responds pretty quickly, and that's the one really good thing about this place. I have a feeling they don't always have the necessary materials though. The maintenance staff is nice and quick Lastly, should I mention the homeless camps that are in the woods to the left of the main office, or the one behind the 502 storage place I know everyone's having a hard time right now, but I don't really feel safe with an opiod addict next door, and 2 homeless camps nearby. The first night I was here, someone got in my car because I forgot to unlock it, and went through my stuff. I asked the main office if they had any security camera footage of the parking lot, or the office since I'm right next to it , and they said there's no security cameras and don't worry about it, it's probably just a kid . Then there's the many times people have just tried to open my door, hoping it was open. I'd normally think it was just someone trying the wrong apartment, but for them to just try and open it like they were comfortable, it'd have to be their own apartment, and it's happened many times, in the morning, in the middle of the night. It's disturbing. I also never got a notice about renewing my lease, so as far as I know, I can legally leave whenever I want. I'm pretty sure I was supposed to get a renewal. So basically, I'm excited to leave Hillview Woods apartments as soon as possible. You overcharge, it's unsafe, the noise is ridiculous, and I really just don't like it here, and there's no way I'd recommend these apartments to a friend. I'd tell them to stay away.
